2021 jAILBREAK TRIATHLON

Pouring rain greeted racers as they were checking in for the race, but it stopped just prior to the canoe start. Participants slid down the muddy slope along with their canoes to approach the river shore. A large runoff waterfall with orange water was flowing 100 feet away from the canoe start, making a significant noise, but the bullhorn was loud enough to get the race started. Race co-director, Gale Moore, was the first to cross the finish line and take the first place Mixed Relay award along with her partner, Tommy Clark.
