Fund raising to replace stolen trail equipment
In December, CCC’s shed containing trail trimming equipment was broken into, and a thief stole a DR Trimmer, 3 weed eaters, a hedge trimmer and a backpack blower. Insurance only partially reimbursed and we need about $5000 to replace.

Jailbreak Triathlon: September 19, 2026

Jailbreak Triathlon Sept. 27, 2025
Registration is open for the 2025 Jailbreak Triathlon! Recruit a partner and join us for 3.5-mile canoe/8-mile MTB/2.65-mile trail run. Compete as 2-person team or relay. The price is $70pp through August 31, then $75 up to the week prior. Notice: Race shirts (shown) and awards will have last year’s date due to the race being cancelled related to Hurricane Helene. Please accept this as a condition before registering.
Jailbreak cancelled due to Helene
Due to heavy rain forecasts combined with dangerous river levels, we have pulled the plug on the Jailbreak Triathlon scheduled for Sept. 28, 2024.

Backroads for Benefield Metric Century
Since the Scarecrow Century is not being conducted this year, we are happy to point you in the direction of this fundraiser for an injured cyclist
Changes for 2024
For 2024, the Chickasaw Trace Classic MTB race will be held on October 13, 2024. This is normally the time when the CCC conducts the Scarecrow Century, and for 2024, the Century will be skipped. With this change, we are hopeful to capitalize on NICA’s peak season, reduced rain chances, and an opportunity to be chosen for the TBRA state championship.
